The staff at
Fox Heath provide meticulous care for boarded horses. Stalls are cleaned in
the morning and then picked out again in the late afternoon. Horses are
turned out in large pastures, paddocks, and grit rings, depending on the
footing conditions, for approximately two hours each day. A daily Exercise
Schedule is maintained to ensure each horse is turned out every day and to
track when they are ridden.
Each
horse's diet is carefully selected and monitored according to that horse's
specific needs. Only top quality hay and grain are fed. Horses stabled at
Fox Heath soon develop sleek, shiny coats, an indication of health and
vitality. Preventative maintenance such as worming, vaccinations, and teeth
floating are performed in coordination with the farm's vet, Dr. Blauner &
Associates.
Special services, such as braiding and clipping, are available at an
additional fee.
The
charge for boarding is $650 per month.
