For those people interested in riding as a recreational sport and who do not wish to compete, foxhunting provides a challenging alternative to the show ring. Huntingdon Valley Hunt kennels their hounds at Fox Heath and Richard Harris, shown in the picture to the right, is their Master and Huntsman.

The hunting season begins in September and runs through March. Meets are scheduled every Wednesday and Sunday, weather and footing conditions permitting.
