We offer a well
rounded program that you won't find
anywhere else. Our multiple
disciplines of riding allow the rider
(and horse) to improve and be
comfortable with all aspects of
equestrian sports. Cross discipline
training creates a more "balanced" rider
that improves their abilities in all
disciplines. Most notably, we like
to get our riders out of the ring, and
encourage them to enjoy the beauty of
the countryside.
Fox Heath welcomes all
individuals with a desire to learn and
enjoy these magnificent animals.
Students ages range from three years to
"Seniors" with both men and women at all
age and skill levels.

The quality of instruction is excellent.
The teaching staff is made of experienced instructors, each having their own
area of expertise. For example, riders who prefer to go at a slower,
more deliberate pace will have a different instructor and lesson plan than
an advanced student who is focused on competing at a particular high-level
show. Fox Heath instructors include an experienced show judge who is
available to work with riders to improve their scoring in competition.
Lesson size/cost
Lesson
students are placed, according to their level of experience, in groups of
three to six riders. Entry-level students advance more quickly with private
lessons before joining a group. The riding time and cost per lesson depends
on the number of students participating:
Group (3 or more
students) - one hour - $40
Semi-private (2
students) - forty five minutes - $45
Private (1 student) - thirty minutes - $50
Additional Information
Students
are encouraged to arrive well in advance of their lesson to help groom and
tack-up their horse. Time should also be allowed to put the horse away after
the lesson.
Lessons
are scheduled on Monday and Saturday mornings through afternoon and then
weekday evenings after school. Additional times may also be arranged.
